Beware of False Prophets and Teachers

2 Peter 2 – Warning about False Prophets and Teachers.

  1. They teach destructive heresies.
  2. They deny Christ.
  3. They follow sensuality.
  4. They hurt the reputation of truth.
  5. They are greedy.
  6. They use false words.
  7. They are condemned.
  8. They crave defiling passion.
  9. They despise authority.
  10. They did not tremble when they speak irreverently.
  11. They are ignorant.
  12. They will be destroyed.
  13. They take pleasure in partying during the daytime.
  14. They have eyes full of adultery.
  15. They sin is never satisfied.
  16. They entice the weak.
  17. They are trained in greed.
  18. They have gone astray.
  19. They are waterless springs.
  20. They have a dark future.
  21. They entice by sensual passions.
  22. They promise freedom but are slaves.
  23. They knew righteousness and turned away from it.

There are false prophets and teachers in families, churches, schools, universities, workplaces, and all forms of media. Beware, so search and study the scriptures to know the truth.
