2 Corinthians 6

v1-2 These verses conclude the thought from chapter 5 to be reconciled to God through the grace given. Today is the day to receive the transforming work of grace and the gospel resulting in salvation.

v3-10 – Paul has sacrificed much so they can know the grace of God that leads to salvation.

He suffered physically v5-6, remained faithful through positive and negative public perception v7-8, and constant misunderstanding v9-10.

v11-13 – Paul’s genuine love for them comes through again and again. His desire is they will respond with similar love.

v14-7:1 – Paul warns them not to partner with unbelievers where Christian mission, standards, and practices will involve compromise. The worldviews of Biblical Christianity and Secular Humanism are not compatible.
